April 9 . . . Congratulations to the Final Four Top Challengers in our Madness Standings. Just like some of the actual tournament games, the final outcome was determined by some razor thin margins. Thank you all for participating!

April 7 . . . Below is a quick look at my best guess about who our Final Four Top Challengers will be after tomorrow (Monday) night. With 3-point bonus opportunities and 20-point perfect prediction possibilities, the outcome may be different.

IN ALL LIKELIHOOD . . .

If Purdue wins and none of the top Challengers pick up any 3 pt bonus points, (or predict an exact score), they will likely finish in this order: PaTricia (349 pts), Wozanaki (339 pts), bp292282 (336 pts), and PrinTs Andrew (333 pts).

If UConn wins and none of the top Challengers pick up any 3 pt bonus points, (or predict an exact score), they will likely finish in this order: Wozanaki (346 pts), PaTricia (342 pts), Smokeys Trainer (336 pts), and bp292282 (329 pts).

SEEKING PERFECTION . . .

If bp292282 predicts the exact score in a Purdue victory, she could earn 349 pts and finish tied for first place.
If PrinTs Andrew predicts the exact score in a Purdue victory, he could earn 346 pts and finish as high as second place.
If Smokeys Trainer predicts the exact score in a UConn victory, he could earn 349 pts and finish in first place.
If BarnsTorm predicts the exact score in a UConn victory, he could earn 340 pts and finish as high as third place.

April 3 . . . The picks are in for the 2 semi-final and title championship games to be played this weekend. Get ready for more excitement and suspense leading up to the naming of the "final four" prize winning Challengers.

March 31 . . . Well, it's nearly over! On this, the eighth day of the tournament, four teams have successfully advanced to the Final Four in Phoenix. Sadly, the Tennessee VOLS will not be among them, but it's still great to be a Tennessee VOL!

With only 3 games remaining to be played this coming week, our current Top Four Challengers include: Bp292282 (329 pts), PaTricia (328 pts), Wozanaki (325 pts), and PrinTs Andrew & Smokeys Trainer (309 pts, tied). At the end of our Challenge, the Top Four Challengers will receive the following proportionate cash prizes: Madness Champion (50%), Madness Runner Up (25%), 3^rd Place Finisher (15%), and 4^th Place Finisher (10%). The FINAL PICKSHEET (3 games) is now accessible. Please go ahead and make your picks NOW. As usual, all picks will be due Wednesday at 6 pm (eastern). March 30 . . . Two teams have successfully punched their ticket to advance to the Final Four on this, the seventh day of the tournament. With 2 more games to be played on Sunday, the current Top Four Challengers in our Madness Standings include: Bp292282 (322), PaTricia (321), Wozanaki (318), & Smokeys Trainer (302). March 29 . . . Four exciting games were played on this, the sixth day of the tournament which featured the final four teams to advance to the Elite 8 - inclUTing the VOLS! With 2 more games to be played on Saturday, the current Top Four Challengers in our Madness Standings include: PaTricia (314), Bp292282 (308), Wozanaki (298), & BarnesTorm (292). March 28 . . . Four exciting games were played on this, the fifth day of the tournament which featured three lower seeded teams advancing to the Elite 8. With 4 more games to be played on Friday, the current Top Four Challengers in our Madness Standings include: PaTricia (307), Wozanaki (277), Bp292282 (280), & BarnesTorm (275). March 27 . . . The picks are in for the Sweet 16 and the Elite 8! Now, it's time to sit back and . . . get nervous. Four games will be played on Thursday. Four more will be played on Friday, followed by two games each on Saturday and Sunday! Good luck to everyone this week!

March 24 . . . Eight final games were played on this, the fourth day of the tournament, including a huge overtime battle between Houston and Texas A&M. Now that the Sweet 16 matchups have been set, our second of three pick sheets is ready for you to submit! Log in and make your picks now, (only 12 games), as all picks are due THIS WEDNESDAY at 6 pm (eastern). March 23 . . . Eight more games were played on this, the third day of the tournament with more stunning outcomes, a huge VOL victory over Texas, and a late-night double overtime game to determine the VOLS’ next opponent - Creighton! With 8 more games to be played on Sunday, the current Top Four Challengers in our Madness Standings include: PaTricia (238), Wozanaki (225), PaTrick (215), & JeTske (214). March 22 . . . Sixteen more exciting games were played on this, the second day of the tournament which featured many more stunning upsets and our first overtime game. With 8 more games to be played on Saturday, the current Top Four Challengers in our Madness Standings include PaTricia (189), JeTske (176), PowerT, (175) and PaTrick & Wozanaki (173, tied). Good luck to the VOLS tomorrow vs. Texas!

March 21 . . . Sixteen exciting games were played on this, the first day of the tournament which featured a stunning early exit for the Kentucky Wildcats at the hands of the Oakland Golden Grizzlies and a perfect score prediction worth 20 points, (Arizona vs Long Beach State), by one of our Challengers. With 16 more games to be played on Friday, the current Top Four Challengers in our Madness Standings include PowerT (106), JeTske (99), Smokeys Trainer, (94) and BarnesTorm (87). March 20 . . . CongraUTlations to the twenty Challengers who qualified to compete in the 2024 KokOasis Madness Challenge! Having successfully submitted your picks for Round 1 and Round 2, you may now sit back and go crazy! A total of 16 games will be played throughout the day tomorrow (Thursday). At the conclusion of each game the Madness Standings will be updated at this site. Each evening, a recap of sorts will be posted right here in the "And One . . ." section of this page. March 19 . . . Most everyone appears to have successfully logged in. Hopefully, everyone will submit their picks by 6 pm (eastern) tomorrow night (Wednesday) before the pick sheet becomes LOCKED. Don't wait until the last minute, or the last hour for that matter. Once the buzzer goes off, the game is OVER. There is no review or recourse. Good luck!

March 18 . . . It’s GO Time! The first pick sheet is ready! Be sure to predict a score for EVERY game on the sheet, including those where the opposing teams are to be determined. Be sure to SAVE your picks every time you make a change up to the DEADLINE which is THIS WEDNESDAY (March 20) at 6 pm eastern time. All picks will be locked in at that time. Good luck!

March 17 . . . "On your March. Get set!" We'll be ready to GO - within an hour or so following the Selection Selection Show TONIGHT. If you have not already tried to login using your new credentials, it would be WISE to do so NOW! The first and second round picks will be due THIS WEDNESDAY! This is no time to count on a buzzer beater to stay in the game!
