In 1998, the year Drew and I met, Tennessee Football was undefeated during the regular season. We attended every home and traveled to Tempe, AZ to witness the VOLS beat Florida State in the Fiesta Bowl for the National Championship. While we were out there, we saw so many images of the native American figure known as “Kokopelli” everywhere. So, we adopted him as our “good luck” charm and incorporated him in many aspects of our lives. In fact, each of the three houseboats we have owned were named the “KokOasis” for that reason. Accordingly, since 1998 all of our annual football and basketball contests have been named the “KokOasis Challenge”. – Kev
